With over 22 years of experience as a trial lawyer and 6.5 years as a judge, Judge Carlos Moore brings a steady, knowledgeable, and impartial voice to every mediation. Throughout his career in the courtroom, he has guided thousands of individuals, attorneys, and families through some of their most challenging moments. Now, as a neutral mediator, he applies that same commitment to fairness, clarity, and resolution.

Throughout his various careers as a licensed insurance claims adjuster, trial lawyer, trial judge, National Bar Association President, and now as a Georgia registered mediator and arbitrator, Judge Moore has garnered a wealth of knowledge, education, and experience that is beneficial to all parties and lawyers who use his services.

Whether navigating complex litigation or resolving sensitive personal conflicts, Judge Moore brings patience, problem-solving, and a genuine belief that a well-guided conversation can lead to meaningful resolution.

unwavering belief in equal opportunity, he has broken barriers throughout his career—from
becoming the first African American to receive the Mississippi Bar’s Outstanding Young
Lawyer Award to serving as President of the National Bar Association. His leadership
continues to open doors for others and strengthen trust in the pursuit of justice. Beyond the
courtroom, Judge Moore is deeply involved in civic and youth development—founding the
Grenada chapter of 100 Black Men, supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs, and providing
scholarships to local students since 2006. Now a resident of Georgia, Judge Moore is a devoted husband, father,
and community leader. He embodies hope for a more just and united future—proving through
his service that progress is possible when purpose meets perseverance.
